The curves, the glow, the miracle of life growing, the embodiment of hope. .

I love maternity photography and making a woman feel like a beauty. The expectant mother deserves to be the center of a camera's eye because she will soon be the center of a little one's world. She will soon burn the midnight oil in wakings, feedings, and countless prayers. Play peek-a-boo thousands of times, pick up hundreds of Cheerios, and hold her baby until her arms ache. This mother will soon not give a thought to herself. A maternity session is one of the final thoughts a mother can give to herself.

A Mother's Picture

A lady, the loveliest ever the sun

Looked down upon you must paint for me:

Oh, if I only could make you see

The clear blue eyes, the tender smile,

The sovereign sweetness, the gentle grace,

The woman's soul, and the angel's face

That are beaming on me all the while,

I need not speak these foolish words:

Yet one word tells you all I would say-

She is my mother; you will agree

That all the rest may be thrown away.
