Home Is Where Your Family's Epic Story Is

Your home is the best place to celebrate life's milestones: how time with a newborn stands still, the lines of a growth chart on a doorframe proudly etched by your child, or the backyard dream that has become a wish come true.

Home is Where Your Heart Is

“It didn’t matter how big our house was; it mattered that there was love in it.” — Peter Buffett

The poorest man is rich if he has a family that loves him. He has the treasures of affection, time, trust, love and these are always most evident in one's home, where home should be an earlier form of heaven.

EAch Room is the most comfortable studio

Your home is the best studio because a studio is NOT a home.

It's Your Family Gallery

Your home represents YOU; your style, your hobbies, your achievements, your values.

Your house is not a design studio. No one LIVES in design studios. You live in messy kitchens with Cheerios on the floor, family rooms that rival Toys R' US, Un-Pinterest-worthy mudrooms, and mismatched family "I wouldn't trade them for anything" photos on the wall. These

are the makings of the art gallery of a family and whose artwork is as authentic as its fingerprints. It is beautiful because it is YOUR unique canvas.

Where your furry friends are

Your fur babies are always most happy at home and because they are happy, you are too. "Dog hair? Don't care," type of living.

Where Everyone Is Happy And At Ease

LESS of "SAY CHEESE!" and MORE snuggles, book reading, baking, playground playing, jumping on the bed, fort building, and candid heart-stringing moments.

Where Your Family's Artwork Is The Best Backdrop

Handprint turkeys, pillows with your baby's name on them, and baby shoes that belonged to your hubby. Bibles that pour into your heart every morning like a good cup of coffee into your mouth, preschool watercolor paintings, and photos from your first date and wedding.

It's Where your family's treasure is

"If you don't think photos are important, wait until they are all you have left."

(Missy Mwac)

At the end of one's life, we recognize how important photos are. Photographs lets us hold onto what we cannot. May your treasure be in your family and your photographs.

The newborn's magical first week home where time stands still. An infant's trusting grasp of your finger into their new world. Tender feeding moments. Happily rocking on their tush to rolling and tumbling over like a stuffed animal. Baby drool teardrops. One legged scoot scrawling. Proud "ma" and "da" at the mention of your name. "Twenty-four pick up!" with Cheerios scattered all over the floor. Chasing rainbow bubbles in the warmth of summer's sun.. Parachuting to tree tops. airlifted from dad's arms. Twirling like a dandelion in a purple princess dress. Tickle tortures to belly aches. Chubby toes and dimpled hands.

Aren't these the things family photos are made of?

FAQ

What do we wear?

We will discuss outfit coordinating that represents your family's style, but also that makes your feel like a goddess in your own home.

How long will the session be?

We can make a custom package for your newborn, family, or maternity session. A newborn session typically lasts two hours with one diaper change, feeding, and not rushing the beautiful moments.

What if it rains or snows?

Well, I had to put this one in just for fun!

What if my child is having a difficult time?

I have five children, I will first understand how you feel. Then I will try and redirect your child with some endearing way (maybe even candy!) and we will figure out a solution together. Often, I just photograph something else while your child needs a moment.

What if we need a break to eat?

That is fine. I will enjoy my iced coffee! No need to rush.

Are you willing to travel for my session?

YES! Let's discuss it and get to know each other by filling out the contact form. I look forward to hearing from you!
